Mountain Trekking (Mt. Elgon) - 7/8 Days

Day 1:
Drive through Jinja, stop for lunch in Mbale town proceed Budadiri.Dinner and overnight at Rose Last Chance Hotel - Budadiri.

Day 2:
Park entry clearance and begin mountain climbing on Mt Elgon and overnight at Mude Cave Camp.

Day 3:
Climb over Jackson’s pool before making it to Wagagai peak (4321m) or Jackson Peak (4165m). Overnight at Mude Camp.

Day 4:
Visit the Caldera with collapsed peaks on top of the mountain. Descend to overnight at Kagyenyi camp or any other camp depending on the guide’s advice.

Day 5:
Hike to the hot springs and Suam gorge and descend to overnight Mude camp.

Day 6:
Descend following the Sasa or Piswa trail. Overnight at Rose Last Chance Hotel in Budadiri.

Day 7:
Early morning visit the Sipi falls before driving to Jinja, lunch enroute, return to Kampala or overnight at Jinja.

Day 8:(Optional)
Rafting on river Nile the whole day and return to Kampala in the evening

The Safari Cost Includes:
