Kenya is generally an all year round tourist destination. There are two rainy seasons, the short rains occur from late October through November and the long rains from late March to early June. In the areas most frequented by tourist on safari, the weather is ideal as it is neither too hot nor too cold. Rain usually falls at night. Wildlife in Kenya is not only a precious natural heritage but it also makes the country the ultimate destination for unlimited adventure.

THE WILDLIFE MIGRATION SPECTACLE.
A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of Wildebeest, Zebras and Gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzanian border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July through to October in the Maasai Mara.

Kenya is regarded as a bird's watchers heaven as over one thousand species have been recorded.

This huge variety is due to lack of extreme variation in climate. Migrants together with local species make the destination truly an Ornithological paradise.
