Dating back from 1965, Keekorok Lodge is a large and busy lodge located at the well-travelled crossroads within the Masai Mara National Reserve.

It can accommodate almost 200 guests. It is popular for those who prefer solid walls to tents and for its location.

It is one of the easier Mara lodges to reach from Nairobi by road. The lodge is sited on a shallow rise where one can see miles away and the sky stretched beyond the horizon to infinity.

The dining room is open to the terrace allowing fresh breeze and view.

There are no fences around Keekorok and it is not uncommon to see elephants and buffalos wander on to the perimeters of the grounds.
