The Norfolk Hotel first opened in Nairobi on Christmas day 1904, offers glorious sophistication in the heart of Nairobi. When it first opened on Christmas Day, 1904, The Norfolk was to spearhead traditions of hospitality in East Africa which are still unmatched today.

It is said that Nairobi as a capital city grew up around The Norfolk Hotel. From the new and old worlds the first guests came, many of noble birth. The guest list made its name a legend then and still does so today.

Many of the bedrooms overlook the hotels famous courtyards where colorful flowering trees & shrubs give a friendly "home-away-from-home" ambience.

The Norfolk boasts 167 bedrooms & suites, all of which have their own private bathroom. The new executive & deluxe suites in the Acacia Wing are furnished to an exceptionally luxurious standard. These rooms also lend themselves to private dining or small meetings.

The Lord Delamere |Restaurant, Terrace & Bar have always been & are still at the centre of Nairobi's social life.
